Recognising the Body and the Wick
The Body is the thick part between the Open and the Close. The Wick is the thin line towards the High and the Low. Here, a teal/green candle has Close > Open; a red one has Close < Open.
AN EXAMPLE
For O 100 and C 108, the Body runs from 100 to 108. The upper Wick goes up to the High of 112, and the lower Wick goes down to the Low of 97.
