A zone can break

Price can move outside a zone, and it can also come back inside. Old Resistance can sometimes act like Support, but this is not a firm rule.

AN EXAMPLE

Look at the “Break” example chart below. Price goes beyond the upper zone. This is a counterexample to the idea that “Resistance always stops price”.
