Line and Candlestick
A line chart usually joins the Close prices. A candlestick shows Open, High, Low and Close. Use the Line and Candles buttons below to see the difference in the same data.
AN EXAMPLE
On a line, you cannot see how far the price went up and down within an hour. A candle shows the whole range from High to Low; the thin part outside the Body is the Wick.
RememberChanging the chart type does not change the actual price history of the asset.
