Day trading
A day trader usually closes positions within the same trading day. It takes time to watch the screen. Even if you do not hold overnight, prices can change fast during the day.
AN EXAMPLE
Buying in the morning and selling in the evening is a typical example of a day trade. Check how your exchange or broker defines the day and the session.
Remember“I do not hold overnight” does not mean zero risk.
