Spot an Uptrend, a Downtrend and Sideways on a chart.

Observation and prediction
Observation: “these highs are moving up.” Prediction: “price will surely rise now.” The first is what you can see on the chart; the second is a claim about the future.
AN EXAMPLE
In your notebook, write “I saw higher highs on 1h SAMPLE/USD.” Do not write “The next candle will be green.”
